Mahua TV, the 1st Bhojpuri satellite channel in the world, was founded in 2009. It is an established TV channel focussing on Hindi heartland area delivering Entertainment, News, Knowledge, & Cultural-Historical-Socio Economic-Political programs in Bhojpuri language.
